What is JannHeal Post Lipo Therapy?
A form of unique bodywork reflexology that applies hand pressure to produce changes & benefits to different parts of the human body. It involves applying smooth repetitive action that aims to mimic the natural and breath movements of the body to mobilize the lymph nodes. These techniques involves strokes that help stimulates the flow of fluid through the lymphatic system, thus relieving swelling & accelerating these movements such that toxins and wastes arising from the natural process of bodily healing are quickly removed, thus accelerating the recuperation period.
Part of the healing process from surgical procedures such as liposuction and breast augmentation inevitably involves seroma (swelling).
If these swellings are not properly taken care of, it could lead to excessive internal scarring which can present as visible surface irregularities on the skin, also known as irregularities or fibrosis. Meet Jann -
Trained at the now-defunct Melbourne Institute of Massage, Jann has been working in the industry for over three decades. Her expertise in post-lipo care and manual lymphatic therapy has been honed through years of hands-on experience, as well as regular training and education. In fact, she is a regular attendee of the Australian Institute of Lymphoedema, where she stays up-to-date on the latest techniques and approaches in her field.
She recognizes that massage therapy is just one part of a larger picture when it comes to health and wellness, and she works closely with plastic surgeons around Southeast Asia to provide her clients with comprehensive treatment plans that address all aspects of their well-being. By collaborating with other healthcare professionals, she is able to provide her clients with a truly holistic approach to care that addresses not just their physical needs, but also their emotional and psychological needs.
The cornerstone of this therapist's practice is her expertise in post-lipo care and manual lymphatic therapy. She understands that undergoing a liposuction procedure can be a significant physical and emotional experience, and her goal is to help her clients heal and recover as quickly and comfortably as possible.
